Spencer is originally from Dallas,  and graduated high school from Saint Mark’s School of Texas in 1998 and from The University of Texas at Austin in 2002. He was raised in a family business centered in commercial real estate development. His full-time career in real estate began in 2002, and he has been licensed as a broker since 2007. Before joining Williams Trew in 2009, Spencer worked for his family partnership, Preston Carter Company, and on his own as an independent broker and investor. Throughout his career, he has been exposed to all fields of real estate brokerage, ownership and management: residential, commercial, multi-family, and land.

When he was working on his own he helped friends and family buy and sell homes and found that he enjoyed the residential side of the business.

Spencer’s goal is to utilize his experience, knowledge, expertise, and confidence to assist his clients with their specific needs. His background gives him a unique perspective and the ability to look at properties from different angles and determine the best way to market them.

Outside of work, Spencer enjoys spending time with his wife Whitney (interior decorator) and their four children. They live in Aledo and are members of Christ Chapel Bible Church. Spencer also serves on various boards and commissions with the City of Aledo. Other boards and organizations that Spencer is proud to serve and be a part of are The Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate, Camp John Marc – Special Camps for Special Kids, and The Fort Worth Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA).

Spencer founded The Perry Group on the core beliefs of Respect, Excellence, Service, and Trust – REST Assured.
